The New Jaguar XE Will Be More Than 75% in Aluminium!
The new Jaguar XE will show advanced aluminium architecture, besides the breathtaking design, unique character, outstanding performance, dynamics and luxury that Jaguar is famous for.
Driving it you can choose between outstanding top speed of 186mph and the unbelievable low emission of 100g of CO2 per km.
The newest Jaguar’s name XE was first revealed on the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The Jaguar XE will come out on 8 September 2014 in London and its release date will be in 2015.
If we judge by its price that will go between £25,000 and £30,000, it will be the next rival of the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class.
The Jaguar XE will be equipped with the F-Type’s V6 engine and the Jaguar’s new Ingenium engine family, an area of 2.0 litre four – cylinder diesel and petrol powertrains which is able of very low CO2 emissions of 100g/km.
It will have a low bonnet, long wheelbase and wheels pushed to the front. The platform that is used in the XE is an absolutely new construction from Jaguar.
It has a lightweight aluminum construction and parts hollow cast in aluminium that follow the same lightweight ideology as the rest of the car.
There is an Integral Link rear suspension that reduces the asperity of big bumps and holes in the road.
It also cuts road noise and reduces the vibration after hitting a bump.
Its new system also allows active safety kids such as active lane-keeping and self-parking.
Another amazing feature of the new Jaguar XE is the named ‘All Surface Progress Control’ that solves the problem of a rear drive car that gets stuck in a snow.
With a simply touch of a button, the car will allow the driver to take it over and pull it away on surfaces with low grip as ice without the need to touch the pedals.
