The Rumors are finished! Samsung presented its new product Galaxy Gear in Berlin, two days ago (on September 4, 2013).

First, maybe for some not- so important, but for those who keep up with technology and at the same time also with the fashion, this product will completely fit into their style. The company itself announced it as a “new fashion icon”.
It has 1.6 inches, not flexible touch screen, 320 x 320 resolution, and wrist strap with six different colors

It has Wi-fi, which will inform the users for calls, emails, texts, dates …

This “handsome” can also take pictures by the 1.9-megapixel camera
Samsung Galaxy Gear enables users to send text messages, download apps, capture photos and record short 720p videos, to make –and receive calls without taking the phone out of the pocket, by simply holding the wrist up to their ear using the built-in speaker and microphone and also make hands-free calls via the Bluetooth headset.

It has third-party applications support by about 70+ apps at launch
It will be compatible with the Galaxy Note 2 and Samsung Galaxy S3, but also with the two new launched models Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014)!
The device is powered by an 800MHz processor and a 315 mAh non-removable battery, which according to Samsung will be enough for a “regular daily” use.

It will have 4GB of storage and 512MB RAM memory
The Galaxy Gear will cost $299.
The watch will have personal assistant feature, similar to Apple’s Siri, named Samsung’s “S Voice” .

Android 4.3 will run it but unfortunately (for now) it will function only with Samsung devices!

For all Fitness and healthy life fans important to know: it has a pedometer for measuring all fitness levels and accelerometer.

Whether this smart watch will be the biggest rival of the expected and announced iWatch and overshadow it? … remains to wait and to compare :)!
